1989: A year of Change in History

I was 17, the Berlin Wall got huge holes and my weight a huge problem.
It was about to head three digits in Kilogram. I was smoking almost a pack of cigarettes each day and was not able to do jogging for longer than 200 meters.I don’t know why, but one strange evening in winter I started with jogging.
I found a book in the local library:
The Art Of Running” from Michael Schreiber.
It gave me another push and I started to run frequently.

I also stopped smoking. During the Summer of 1990 I lost more than 25 kg in 12 weeks.

2003: My stay in Iran

A project in Iran made me Skipping due to no chance to do jogging outside of the hotel


2016: China perfect place to get skipping insane

In 2016 I started a delegation in China. Yes, I besides my passion have a “real” job. Due to the weather and sometimes not so good air quality I searched for some alternative training methods.


2019: Things go fast in China

I was really in it.

I got motivated by all what.I saw on video channels and decided to publish my own motivational videos.

I seduced softly the people around me, to rope skipping. Colleagues, family members and even strangers in the park where not safe to get involved into my passion.

Frequently I just go to one of the parks in Beijing. Strangers see me skipping and just join in. Language barriers are gone. We just celebrate together.

In theses moments I know it’s more in it than just exercise. So positive energy emitted by it.


2020 What is the next level?

After all my learning and what I gained in recent years, it’s time to give back.
